LEVERAGING DIGITAL LEARNING TOOLS SHOWCASE

From event:
Explore newer and popular digital learning tools for K-12 classrooms with interactive presentations by CEHD Technology in Classrooms students. You can also engage in discussions, network with faculty, staff and local teachers, and gain insights from a renowned expert in technology and teacher education.

Attendees will be able to learn from students currently enrolled in the course Technology in Classrooms. These students, preservice teachers, will give interactive presentations and demonstrations on both newer as well as more popular digital learning tools beneficial to K-12 classrooms in the teaching and learning process.

This each semester event challenges preservice teachers, enrolled in the course Technology in Classrooms to choose, evaluate, and present effective practices of one emerging (or new uses of existing) digital learning tool, while inviting local educators to attend to learn from and network with the preservice teachers.

Attendance to date:
Presenters: 295
Participants: 16 local educators across 3 local districts: College Station, Pasadena, Caldwell
